Acadia Performing Arts offers another Series of world-class performances filled with excitement and excellence!
From the Nasr Sisters’ group ASHK to the Annapolis Guitar Quartet, the Series is bookended by Artists who, while calling the Valley home, have travelled and lived around the world, creating and mining musical gems. Two “homecoming” performances to open and conclude the Series!
In between, along with its two annual staples, the masterful Symphony Nova Scotia concert and the Tom Regan Memorial Concert, the Series brings back by popular demand two wonderful acts! Following last year’s triumphant “Josephine, a Cabaret Dream Play”, the great singer/dancer/actress Tymisha Harris returns to Wolfville with her new award-winning creation, “The Cabaret of Legends”. And in December, well, it wouldn’t be “The Season” without The Barra MacNeils! 2025 is the 25th anniversary of their inspiring and festive “East Coast Christmas”, the Celtic Christmas concert most popular from Coast to Coast to Coast.
Our 2025-26 Series is perfectly rounded up with lyricism and zest with performances by the Callinos Ensemble in October and Buzz Brass Quintet in November, both presented in collaboration with Debut Atlantic.
You can also expect exciting off-Series events to complement the official 8-concerts Series. On August 23, we will present National treasure Lennie Gallant in concert, celebrating the release of his first full-length recording of all new songs in seven years!
